About Creating pathways
Creating Pathways was established through Becky's deep passion to support individuals through the various challenges and hurdles that life can often throw our way. Becky has spent many years studying different forms of therapy, and she continues to be inspired to expand her knowledge so that she can provide a service to her clients that is individualised and unique.
Becky is an experienced Gestalt Psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is also an art therapist and group facilitator. She has a deep passion for assisting people to connect with their true essence of who they are by helping them to release all they are not so that they can heal, grow and transform.
Becky is an experienced group facilitator and has implemented and facilitated many group therapy programs that have included art therapy, meditation, and embodiment practices. She also runs training groups for organisations that focus on mental health, stress, burnout, mindfulness and self care.
Becky comes from a trauma informed background which is grounded in her somatic experiencing training. This approach includes embodiment practices to help bring clients awareness to their own bodies and the wisdom that their bodies hold. Her approach is holistic which addresses the physical, the mental, the spiritual and the emotional.
In recent years Becky has developed a passion for psychedelic integration therapy. She has worked with many clients who are wanting to be supported in taking a psychedelic journey. Her support is mainly helping clients make sense of their psychedelic experience after they have had an experience and sometimes this support can involve helping the client prepare for a psychedelic journey with supporting them with intention setting and preparation for their journey.
She is passionate about working with clients with eating disorders and more recently this passion has extended to working on the prevention of eating disorders by becoming a voice that challenges our cultures current perception of what a 'healthy' body should look like and putting a focus on positive body image and self esteem. It has been through her desire to create change that led her to develop 'Heart Cards'. Heart Cards is a set of 28 cards that include 28 original artworks that focus on positive body image and self esteem.
